Licensed in law by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, he has contributed to many consulting and advising firms.

Becoming a part of the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados of Madrid in 1994, he has worked as an lawyer at Castro & Associates, dedicated to legal advising in the design of business operations and in judicial and extrajudicial claims.

In 1996, he began working as a consulting lawyer for Dequidt & Associates.

Since that time, he has been linked with the financial markets through Renta4 S.A. Sociedad de Valores y bolsa, performing functions as a Legal and Financial advisor and a Financial Asset Manager for Private Entities.

In 1998 he was named as the head of the Judicial-Financial sector of DEFENSA LEGAL S.A., office of Legal and Financial Advising Services.

He has gained abundant experience as a legal adversary across all areas of the law, including the Labour, Civil, Commercial, and Fiscal Sectors. He has given numerous courses and seminars on Business, Law, and especially on the Stock Market and Financial Markets.

VICTORIA JANE RUSSELL LEGAL ASSISTANT

Victoria graduated from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2002, achieving 2:1 LLB Honours and also passed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law in 2003 at The College of Law, York.

She has since worked as a Property Paralegal and has undertaken various work placements in prestigious London law firms.

Since 2004 she has extended her legal knowledge by studying the Spanish Legal System and in 2005 she formed part of the legal team at DEFENSA LEGAL working in an advisory role, preparing legal proceedings for both Commercial and Civil matters.

MARCOS LIZARRAGA GUTIÉRREZ ATTORNEY

   During his legal education, he also concentrated on human resource management and material in national companies and other businesses such as University Halls Of Residence. He has specialized in tax, also completing post-graduate studies.

    He has participated in representing Spain in the International Youth Foundation for international financing programs of a variety of companies and foundations. He also has taken part in advising projects of the European Union for third-world countries and Latin America and has contributed his expertise at international forums to which he was invited to attend.

    Presently, he is in charge of the tax sector of Defensa Legal, S.A. and researches in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid over social and economic laws in the framework of the Treaty of Nice of the European Union.

LINDSEY SUNDBERG ASESORA JURÍDICA DE EMPRESAS

   Lindsey gradudated CUM LAUDE in the Connecticut College of New London, in The United States of America.

Her honours subjects were the History of Art and Spanish Studies. After graduating, she worked as a legal assistant in the Prestigious Law Firm “The Law Offices of Benjamin Bradley Reed, P,C” in Atlanta Georgia where she specialised in giving Commercial and International legal advice to important companies in the State of Georgia.

In DEFENSA LEGAL she assists in Legal Business and Employment matters.

AMANDA FERREIRA SOUZA ASESORA JURÍDICA DE MEDIO AMBIENTE

 Amanda graduated from The University of Candido Mendes Centro in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and from The Brasil Institute for Technical Defence Data in Rio de Janeiro.

After her gradauation, she subsequently started her professional career in State Public Defence in Rio de Janeiro and subsequently in the Legal Department of the Telecommunications in Brasil as an external relations assistant. She continued her legal career in the Law firm Paola Gedey and Patricia Pinto in Rio de Janeiro before joining Defensa Legal in the Legal Environmental Department.

CHELSEA ASHBROOK FINANCE DEPARTMENT

 Chelsea graduated MAGNA CUM LAUDE in the University of Illinois in Champaign- Urbana, Illinois in The United States of America, specialising in Finance and Spanish.

She currently attends the University of San Luis where she has completed a year of legal studies. She works for Legal Newspaper at University in the International Procedure team and is also a member of a International Law Society. Her professional development has continued in North American law firms in the fields of Law and International Business.
